IceSolv, LLC is a leader of radiological services and
staff augmentation services to the Department of Defense
(DoD), Department of Energy (DoE) and select private
sector companies throughout the USA. IceSolv primarily
specializes in providing specialty nuclear decontamination
services, decontamination manpower services, and support
for all of the health physics service disciplines.
DoD US Army Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Projects
- IceSolv was tasked with the radiological survey, decontamination
and removal of all radiological items from each of the
following mentioned sites. Fort Evans was the most extensive
project which included the decontamination and decommissioning
of a research reactor. Fort McClellan, Fort Monmouth,
Fort Devens, Lexington Bluegrass Station, Aberdeen Proving
Grounds, Fort Sheridan, Fort Ord, Sacramento, Watertown,
Presidio (San Francisco), Pueblo, Eglin AFB and Army
Corps of Engineers SLAPS project are all successfully
BRAC projects performed by IceSolv, LLC.
Additional Base Realignment and Closure
Projects were performed for CHPPM. IceSolv was tasked
with the survey,
decontamination and removal of all radiological items
from each of the following mentioned sites. Camp Kilmere,
Picatinny Arsenal, Stratford Army Engine Plant and
Walter Reed Hospital were all successfully completed
remediation
projects.
IceSolv has performed numerous Uranium Mill Tailing
Remediation Act (UMTRA) Projects. IceSolv was tasked
with the cleanup of tens of properties where Uranium
Mill Tailings was used as backfill soil for building
projects. These properties are located in and around
Grand Junction, CO; Monticello, UT; Naturita, CO; and
Rife, CO. All of these projects were successfully completed
during a seven year timeframe.
Several Specialty Nuclear Projects performed by IceSolv
include facility wide decontamination and health physics
support at the Frank W. Hake & Associates facility
in Memphis, TN. IceSolv assisted in the free release
of a contaminated facility for Ronson Metals in Newark,
NJ after extensive concrete decontamination and removal.
IceSolv did provide IT Corp with Health Physics support
in Fords, NJ; Davis, CA; Berkley, CA and Bloomsburg,
PA. IceSolv assisted in the development of a decommissioning
plan and managed the remediation of contaminated soils,
decontamination of all site buildings and associated
equipment at the Molycorp facility in York, PA. IceSolv
has performed embedded pipe survey, decontamination
and removal for NASA in Northern Ohio. We, in addition,
have
provided and completed final status survey and health
physics support to NASA. This is a very small sample
of the nuclear capabilities and some of the projects
performed by IceSolv.
